Cookbook Corrections!

“Anyone nit-picking enough to write a letter of correction to an editor doubtless deserves the error that provoked it.” ~Alvin Toffler

“A person who never made a mistake never tried anything new.” ~ Albert Einstein

“To err is human; to forgive, divine.”  ~Alexander Pope
For any project to be successful it takes a collaboration of many talented people, some get paid and some donate their time. Some get credit for all to see and some stay behind the scenes. I was privileged enough to host the Sheva Brachos for my dear friends Perila and Ben Camille. With the assistance of setting up done by Rina Miller, Regina Radusky, Rick Katz and the ever faithful Gladys!
The stunning cakes you see are from the uber-talented Daliah Myers of Le Cake Chic. I have had the privilege and honor of working with her over the years on some fun and outlandish projects! She never seems daunted by my challenges… Check out a larger and more detailed picture of those cakes! Keep in mind that these are mini cakes…
On that night I was lucky enough to hire my close friend Lia Jay of Lia Jay Photography to shoot the pictures of all the hard work. The amount of work required an assistant, Ben Schwartz. These 2 made it look effortless to take the photos that they did.

That night was largely successful to all the people who helped me pull it off! I want to apologize for not giving everyone their due credit earlier or in the cookbook.
Corrections in Cookbook:
Page 17, Blooming Bread: It should say 6 CLOVES of garlic
Page 87, Hush Puppies: It should say 1/2 tbsp salt
We did have multiple proof readers and editors go over this book, we are aware that for some unknown reason a bunch of errors did make it thru to the printing stages. We will have it corrected for the next printing.
This cookbook is also geared towards people who have a basic knowledge of cooking that is why we don’t write to Pre-heat the oven (we assume you know that), we don’t list unsalted margarine/butter (we assume if you read the book you will see that note that says unless specified its unsalted) and we don’t list the size eggs. Some places we did note these things where we thought you might question it, like the Challah recipe on page 15.
Please make sure to check out Page 256 of the cookbook to see who else was involved in this amazing project!
“I have never claimed to be a “chef” but I have claimed to be a mom! I have never said I was a “foodie” but I do cook for picky eaters. I never said I was “brilliant” but I am a do-er!” ~Breezy
